Hi, My name is Kyle Ellis, I live and work in Los Angeles, CA. I am a marketing executive with more than a decade of Marketing and Business Development expertise in a variety of media, entertainment and technology businesses.
I have experience in just about everything related to the web, including design, development, sales, project management, SEO…. it’s a long list. Though the majority of my time has been spent in marketing and more then a handful for years working in entertainment. I’ve spent time in both hands-on & strategic business roles at Record Labels, Online Marketing Agencies and SaaS E-Commerce platforms —putting in a combined tenure of 8 years in Marketing and Entertainment in the digital space. In these positions I led multiple initiatives for clients that ranged from the Grateful Dead and The Sacramento Kings to Bill Clinton’s non-profit, The Clinton Global Initiative.
In addition to my marketing background, I spent 2009 working for Userplane, a start-up acquired by AOL/Time Warner. Working in Business Development, I was leveraging new distribution models across strategic 3rd party relationships, reaching millions of Social Network users daily. With a strong understanding of Open Standards based Consumer Web initiatives I also managed Facebook, Myspace and Opensocial developer relations. On occasion I would hit the road and had a chance to speak publicly on trends in Social Media, Viral Marketing, and Web Monetization.
Today, I am keenly interested in working on ways to blend business strategy with dynamic opportunities around the Web to enhance the customer experience, connect individuals and innovate.
